These terms apply to your use of quantro.au and to anything you send us through it. The website is run by Quantro Civil Estimating Pty Ltd (ABN 81 703 228 791), trading as Quantro. By using the website or sending an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

Enquiries and engagements

Sending an enquiry does not create an engagement. After a scope check, we send a fee proposal with our terms of engagement. Work starts only once you accept the proposal and pay the fee. If anything in these terms conflicts with the terms of engagement, the terms of engagement apply to that job.

We may decline an enquiry for any reason. One reason is our independence policy: if we are preparing a budget or business case estimate for a project, we do not price that project for anyone tendering it.

Fees and website content

Fees shown on the website are indicative and exclude GST. Your fee is fixed only in the fee proposal we send you.

The sample estimate, methodology and programme are from a made-up project. They show the format of our work and are not rates or durations to rely on. Everything on the website is general information, not advice about your project.

Documents you send us

You keep ownership of everything you send us. By sending documents, you:

• confirm you are allowed to share them with us for pricing, including under any confidentiality conditions in the tender or contract they come from
• allow us to use them to check the scope of your enquiry, prepare a fee proposal and, if you engage us, carry out the work

We keep your documents confidential and handle them as set out in our privacy notice. Please don't send documents you are not allowed to share. Document links must open without signing in; we can't access links behind a login.

Rates you supply

Giving us your plant, labour or supply rates is optional. We use them to price your job. If you engage us, we keep them only in anonymised form, as set out in our privacy notice and terms of engagement.

Our content

The website's text, drawings, logo and design belong to Quantro. You can view and share pages, but you may not copy or reuse our content without our written permission.

Using the website

You must not use the website to send anything harmful, such as malicious files, or try to access our systems without permission. We may block anyone who does.

Liability

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
